Contemporary Wind, an exhibition featuring the works of nineteen contemporary artists, is scheduled to take place at the prestigious Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery on Ghole Road in Pune. The event, which is set to run from the 14th to the 19th of May '24, is being organized by Romartika Art Decoded. Renowned author and art enthusiast, Saikat Baksi, has taken on the role of curator for this group show, aiming to highlight the unique styles and spirits embodied in the artworks on display.
As part of the exhibition, distinguished artists Sharad Tarde and Suchitra Tarde will engage in a critical dialogue exploring the various nuances present in the paintings on display. Additionally, on the 19th of May, Saikat Baksi will lead a discussion on the importance of the Muse for artists and the essence of Surrealism.
The inauguration of the exhibition is scheduled for 5 pm on the 14th of May '24. Eminent artist, Prakash Ambegaonkar and Zen Vartan will inaugurate the show. The artists whose works will be showcased are Alka C Singh, Arpit Vyas, Poulami Jagtap, Jiban Krishna Thakur, Resshma Valliappan, Onjali M Prasada, Priti Anand, Kranti Desai, Rishi Baksi, Zahra Ansari, Brinda Nilesh, Kavita Tambolkar, Nilanjana Roy, Sulochana Gawde, Ena Saini, Gitanjali Sengupta, Kshipra Pitre, Shagun Lathi, and Saikat Baksi.
